ROOM FOR JEWISH LEARNING

We are thrilled to announce an exciting historic moment for Paideia, The European Institute for Jewish Studies in Sweden–we have moved to a new home! In addition to Paideia’s work to nurture the renewal of European Jewish culture and learning, Paideia launched Paideia Folkhögskola just over three years ago.  Paideia Folkhögskola is Sweden’s first cultural college that offers Jewish programming and general adult education courses from a Jewish perspective in Stockholm. This growth has led to the need for a larger space that has the possibility to adapt to the development of both organizations as well as the students and participants.

Supporters

We would like to thank all of our committed supporters for helping Paideia in our campaign “Room for Jewish Learning”. We appreciate all of your generous donations. Investing in Jewish culture and learning in Sweden and Europe benefits us all and we cannot accomplish our goals without the support and involvement of our many committed supporters who encourage diversity and pluralism. Paideia would like to give special recognition to the leadership support of the following donors:

The Eduard and Sophie Heckscher Foundation

The Annika and Gabriel Urwitz Foundation

Ed and Peggy Robin
