Mary C. Boys is a prominent theologian in Jewish-Christian dialogue. She is the Skinner and McAlpin Professor of Practical Theology at the Union Theological Seminary in the City of New York. She also serves as an adjunct faculty member of the Jewish Theological Seminary of America. Prior to her present appointment, she served for seventeen years on the faculty of Boston College.
Jew-Christian relations is the focus of her academic work, and she is also involved in various interfaith organizations. Mary C Boys is a Catholic, and belongs to the order Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary. She holds honorary doctorates from a number of Jewish and Christian universities.
Krister Stendahl was a prominent theologian and New Testament scholar and highly active in Jewish-Christian Dialogue. He served as the Bishop of Stockholm between 1984 and 1988, and Dean and Professor at the Divinity School at Harvard University.
